“Accept – then act. Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it … not against it. This will miraculously transform your whole life.” – Eckhart Tolle
I am a true believer that when we are able to accept our current reality, we allow ourselves to experience inner peace while restoring equilibrium to our core.
Once a conscious decision is made to stop fighting against the forces that be, we can become open to the idea of accepting what is; subsequently, allowing ourselves to move forward in a more meaningful and powerful direction.
The power of acceptance inadvertently allows us to handle life’s ups and downs while achieving growth in ways we never knew possible.
In times of hardship, it is important to remain mindful that every struggle creates an opportunity to practice acceptance; thus, making it possible to learn one of the many lessons life throws our way. We must be willing to take on the inevitable challenges and roadblocks of life – recognizing that personal growth is never easy.
At times many of us may find ourselves fighting against our own reality – spiraling into a state where feelings of entrapment and powerlessness begin to exist within our minds. The true reality however, is that we are all unique – we all hold the key to our own happiness – and it starts with acceptance. Regardless of the experience, each day presents an amazing opportunity to strengthen our mindset, accepting what is and living every moment on our own terms.
Below are five quotes that can help serve as a reminder to stay mindful of the power of acceptance – may you find strength in the message.
Cheers!
